 International Driver Certificate Training

Regulation of International Road and Passenger Transportation&##39;s (published in Official Gazette no 22027, dated 20.08.1994) Article 38 obliges drivers to receive a certificate. Our Association is authorized by Turkish Ministry of Transportation to issue this certification through training.

Company Drivers realizing international goods and passenger transport indulge in this programme. Lectures are performed in classrooms with 25 students&##39; capacity and with other required technical equipments (PC&##39;s, projector etc.)

The programme lasts in 12 hours during a period of 2 days. Certification training is to be repeated every 5 year and is endorsed by Turkish Ministry of Transportation.

During the course of the last 3 years, 208 drivers from 74 companies in the international Transport sector have attended this programme. As companies are required to employ drivers with International Driver Certificate, it is therefore compulsory for drivers to join this programme. The fact that the course is to be repeated every 5 years, a need continuity is evident.

The programme addresses nearly 27.000 people in the transportation sector. As a non-governmental organization with 600 members who happen to be the leading companies in the sector, we provide up-to-date information relating to training programmes to our members via our web site, monthly magazine and regular circulars.

ADR Driver-License for Dangerous Goods&##39; Transportation

Transport companies realizing Dangerous Goods&##39; Transportation to countries that are party&##39;s to the ADR convention (such as European Union member countries) should employ drivers with ADR certificates. Without this certificate, drivers are not allowed to these countries with dangerous goods. Our association has been supplying ADR certificate trainings since 2001.

Lectures are performed in classrooms with 25 students&##39; capacity and with other required technical equipments (PC&##39;s, barkovision, projector etc.). The programme takes 18 hours spread over 3 days. Certification training is to be repeated every 5 year and is endorsed by IHK München, Germany.

In last 3 years, 374 drivers from 109 companies in the international Transport sector have attended this programme. As companies are required to employ drivers with ADR Certificate, in case of transporting dangerous goods, drivers possessing the said certificate are normally preferred.
